Central Coast Singles invites all single adults (whether members of our group or not) to our monthly Singles Mingle. Details (at-a-glance) are at the end of this listing. Although usually held the 4th Friday each month, the March mingle will be held on March 21, just prior to Easter! We will have an Easter theme to our meet and greet.

This is an opportunity for singles to get to know each other in a pressure free environment, while dining and having fun with others. Our meeting starts at 6 pm, and will go until the last people leave, or the restaurant closes!

At our last mingle in Atascadero, we had 40 singles. We hope to have many more than that, so come have some fun, food, and friends at our mingle! Remember that you do NOT have to be part of our group. You will not be pushed to join, but membership is FREE if you choose to join us while you are there.

Bring your single friends. Dress is casual to evening wear (however you want people to see you). I will likely wear slacks and a button up shirt, so you don't have to be formal :-)

Central Coast Singles was started in 2005 to bring people together in a social atmosphere to meet other singles for friendship, socializing, or relationships. Each person may find what they are looking for, and make good friends along the way.

We have weekly events with singles from Paso Robles to Lompoc. With over 200 members, we are the second largest singles groups in our area. We have been featured in the Tribune, and been on the Dave Congalton Show. Come see what friendship as a single can be.

Want to meet singles? Come join us for unlimited games at Boomer's in Santa Maria, and have loads of fun! Several singles have already let me know they will be there. I will get there about noon, and wait for people to show up. Of course, you can play without us, and without a discount, but once the first 10 people get there, we will get discounts! From either North or South on 101, take the Broadway exit. At the first traffic light turn right, pass the campground, and Boomer's is on your right. If you need help, try this Mapquest map.

If you're going to be a bit late, that's ok. They don't close til 9:30, so come any time. You'll just need to ask for the group discount. Contact ccoastsingles@yahoo.com when you get there, and I will point you to the right place. I suggest getting there as early as possible, so you can be sure to meet the most people. There are several options for the day, so check the pricing below to decide what you want to do.

Since this is St. Patty's month, we will each get a green lei (I only have 48 of them so try to get there early) so we will know each other. If you get there really late, I suggest wearing something green so we know you are a CCS single.

We can play Miniature Golf, Go Karts, Bumper Boats, or climb the Rock Wall . Here is the group pricing so you can make your choices now:

  • Just hanging out and saying hi to us is FREE and you can decide if you want to play video games inside.
  • All Day Pass is $19.00 (instead of $29.95)
  • 3 Hour Unlimited Pass is $15.00 (instead of $24.95)
    Both of them include Unlimited Miniature Golf, Splash Island Bumper Boats, Rock Wall, & Thunder Road Go-Karts
  • Group Combo Package $10.00 Including: 2 Attraction Tickets & 10 Tokens
  • Individual golf games are $4.00 instead of $7.99
  • You can get 30 Game Tokens for $5.00
  • Lunch is $3.99 per person, plus tax for 2 Pizza Slices & 1 Soft Drink (fast food is not too far away, so it's your choice)

I only provide the prices here so you can see what costs there might be for the day (I am not affiliated with them in any way and I get nothing for this ~ I will be paying, just like you). I got them off the website. If you need to confirm exact cost, call them to confirm group pricing. I am going to get an all day pass and stay til I pass out lol.

When you get there, we may have to wait for the first 10 people to get there. Once we have 10, I will start to divide us up into groups that include at least one guy per golf group of 4 to 6 (hopefully there will be many more guys per group ~ it depends how many show up right away). Once you complete one course, you're on your own as to who you golf with. I will do this so you don't have the pressure of who you are going to play with.

John Wheaton has agreed to give FREE West Coast Swing dance lessons to Singles. This is a great dance style that allows you to look good dancing to whatever music you are dancing to. A few well executed turns and spins, and you'll look like you really know how to dance. John does a great job of teaching, and everyone loved the last lessons he taught us. The manager of the Maverick is extending Happy Hour Pricing to us! They only ask that for the free lessons we order a drink or food, but you're going to work up a sweat anyway! Here is how it goes:

  • 6:00 PM We meet and chat over dinner. Chicken, burgers, salads, or whatever you want to order. I hear the burgers are really good.
  • 7:00 PM Basic West Coast Swing lesson
  • 8:00 PM Beyond Basic West Coast Swing lesson
  • 9:00 PM Free dance time to practice with other students

Meet dozens of singles over a nice dinner at Cafe Vostro in Grover Beach. They have started serving dinners and are offering us a great menu including grilled salmon, rib eye steak, prime rib, pasta, and chicken (all at affordable prices), in addition to their regular salads, soups, and sandwiches.<

This is going to be a great event, with dancing and music to end the evening. We will meet to eat, mingle, then decide where people want to go for entertainment. Our current choices are Mongo's across the street for the band "Klockwyze" http://www.myspace.com/klockwyze, Fin's by the beach two blocks away for their entertainment choice for the night, or we can head a couple miles up the road to Harry's in Pismo Beach for LA's 80's headliner band "The Little George Band".

This is a great little bistro style restaurant that I have heard good things about. I like the atmosphere, have met the chef (he is ready to please us ~ let me know if you have any special dietary considerations at least 7 days in advance), and they have a nice selection of mostly local wines. If you feel the need to bring your own wine, there is a corkage fee.

This is going to be an awesome evening of fun company, new friends, and meeting people you might otherwise never get to meet. You could even get the number of your soul mate!

I also suggest you let people know about this from any dating sites you belong to. That way you may get a chance to meet them in person and see what they are like in a public place without the commitment of a date. Tell your single friends and bring them along!
