Brownies Troop Room TBC With Alicia Jones In Girl Scouts, girls discover the fun, friendship, and power of girls together. Through a myriad of enriching experiences, such as extraordinary field trips, sports skill-building clinics, community service projects, cultural exchanges, and environmental stewardships, girls grow courageous and strong. Girl Scouting helps girls develop their full individual potential; relate to others with increasing understanding, skill, and respect; develop values to guide their actions and provide the foundation for sound decision-making; and contribute to the improvement of society through their abilities, leadership skills, and cooperation with others. Did you know that universities give preference to Girl Scouts, 80% of women business owners were Girl Scouts, 69% of US Senators were Girl Scouts, and virtually every female astronaut who has flown to space was a Girl Scout! We are so excited for our girls to be able to join the 16,000 Girl Scouts who are overseas in BSB Troop #05730! Upon signing up for Girl Scouts, an information packet full of information and your daughter’s application form will be delivered to her classroom for her to return at our first meeting in ASA Season 3! For more information about Girl Scouting, please visit www.girlscouts.org. In the meantime, please click here to read about the associated costs and needs for this activity. Also, if you are a parent that would be willing to help out we'd love to hear from you, please contact alicia.jones@britishschool.org.cn
