UPDATE: Due to increased demand, we had to upgrade our venue, which resulted in a date change. Welcome to USC's third annual alterEnergy symposium. This unique symposium will take place April 25, 2010 in USC's Davidson Conference Center, and will aim to expose Los Angeles-area MBA students and young professionals to a stimulating discussion of the life-cycle of renewable energy projects – from policy, planning, and finance to project development and grid integration. The event will include an opening keynote and two panel discussions, one before and one after lunch. The morning panel will cover environmental policy, project planning, and finance. The afternoon session is scheduled to address project development, grid integration, and demand-side management. Companies participating include Southern California Edison, Solar Power Partners, EnerNOC, the Clinton Climate Initiative, Tioga Energy, and Axio power, and our moderator is Jeff Atkin, Partner and member of the Energy Industry Team at Foley & Lardner.
