Drawing from the Figure, Still Life and Cityscape
Leader: Srule Brachman
Experienced and novice artists can draw directly from the figure, still life or cityscape; or use it as a departure point for abstraction. The Intention will always be to create a personal statement of your vision using observation, accident, and erasures as elements along with key design elements of line, shape, color, dark and light, pattern, texture and composition. Art historical references will be made through presentations of books and images of painted and drawn figures, still life, and cityscapes through history.
4 weeks Tuesdays Evenings 6 - 8pm July 12, 19, 26 & August 2
Adult Workshop
Cost: $65 non members
$55 members
*A materials list will be provided to student that they should purchase prior to class once registration as occurred.
