Awure:The Spiritual Technology of Yoruba Good Luck Medicine
Continuing with our Tradtional African Medicine workshop series, we present this new workshop about the healing power and nature of Awure, good luck medicine from Ifa spiritual tradition. During this engaging workshop, some of the topics to be covered will include:

Ile Ori'Lagba
Baba Faseye Sangobukunmi is a traditional Yoruba priest of Ifa and Sango, documentary filmmaker, certified Holistic Health Coach, diviner and third-degree Reiki Master. He was initiated into the Sango priesthood in Nigeria by Sangodele Ibuowo, the Elegun Sango of Koso, Oyo State, Nigeria. He was also initiated into the Ifa priesthood by Baba Fakayode Faniyi and members of the Idin Ileke Ifa Temple in Osogbo. Since his initiation, he has been studying Ifa and Yoruba spirituality under the tutelage of his esteemed godfather and spiritual mentor, Baba Fakayode Faniyi, the Agbongbon Awo of Osogbo.
He studied holistic health and traditional African medicine with various healers and received his certification as an African healer in African Science and Healing by Dr. Kofi Asare, noted Ghanian healer and herbalist. He also completed a 2 year Indigenious African Spiritual Technology apprenticeship under the direction of Malidoma Some, African Shaman and Phd scholar. He holds a Master's Degree in Holistic Nutrition Education. Baba Faseye's work is centered around health and wellness and the healing power of African spirituality. He is also filmmaker, entrepreneur practicing Ifa priest and lifetime student and teacher of spirituality and healing. He heads the Ile Ori L'Agba spiritual community and learning center.
