In traditional Yoruba religion, oriki is a genre of literature which is used to not only to praise noteworthy people, but also Òrìşà and other spiritual forces. Oriki are used to invoke and illicit the positive response of the Òrìşà. Learn some of the traditional Yoruba oriki used to invoke some of the major Òrìşà in this lively and engaging workshop. Learn the meaning and the correct pronunciation of the oriki to effectively worship the Òrìşà.
