Queensland weathered the worst of the global financial crisis and now the Queensland Government is looking to the future. While still feeling the fall-out of the global financial crisis, the Government has made some tough but necessary decisions to restore strength to the State’s finances.

The Treasurer will address the Valley business community on recent improvements to the State’s key economic and fiscal forecasts and will discuss the strategies in place to bring about a brighter economic future for Queensland.
