Street Moda will bring today’s latest fashions to the hottest lounge in the Derby City. Prime Lounge is located at 106 W. Main Street and will host the evening’s festivities with the proceeds to benefit National Safe Place. There will be two fashion show times at 11:00 P.M. and 1:00 A.M. Buy your tickets here and be entered to win a COMPLIMENTARY VIP TABLE at the event, to be announced April 9.
All ticket proceeds will go to benefit Safe Place Services and total proceeds will be matched and donated by Street Moda to Safe Place.
Also, for each additional $1 donated at the event, you will be entered in a raffle for a chance to win a variety of gift certificates to local shops and boutiques!
You must be 21 and over to get in.
Our goal is to raise awareness to the community regarding the dangers that the youth of our own community face each day.
The youth outreach program spreads the word to young people across the nation about the risks of running away or trying to resolve difficult, threatening situations on their own. Safe Place has a mission to provide access to immediate help and supportive resources for all young people in crisis through a network of sites sustained by qualified agencies, trained volunteers and businesses. Safe Place will be universally recognized and used by youth across America as the place to go for immediate help and safety.
Our role as a community is to take an active, cooperative role in assisting young people in crisis. Street Moda and Prime Lounge have come together in a combined approach to reach local residents who may not know of these dangers or how to lend a helping hand. Proceeds will go towards Safe Place fundraiser: 18th Annual Safe Place Turf Classic. This event is truly one of a kind - Churchill Downs hosts a day at the races with a twist: the favorite race of the day is run by corporate sponsored firefighters or corporate representatives! They compete for the winning trophy by running seven furlongs (7/8 of a mile) on the turf track.
