Speech contests are a key component of the Toastmasters Program. To have successful Club, Area, Division and District contests, we need well trained judges. Training session for judges will be held throughout the District. Each training session will help participants learn the characteristics of a good judge, the scoring criteria to use to judge the contestants fairly and some pitfalls for a judge to avoid. The participants will judge a model contest to further develop their judging skills. Once trained, those judges will be able to help their club, area, and division to have successful speech contests.
