Event Details

PMI Montgomery is hosting a Professional Development Seminar on 9 April 1:30 - 5:30 p.m. (3 PDUs or 3 CEUs)

Dan Tuten, PMP, and Professional Development Speaker, will present "The Hand in the Glove - Cost Management & Estimating.

Dan teaches around the globe in such exciting venues as Budapest, Rome, Sydney and Edinburgh as well as much closer to home in many of the PMI Chapters throughout the Southeastern US.

Project Management for Dan began with the Department of Defense and an Army career that would lead through several assignments and project management challenges. These learning experiences included logistics, IT and planning endeavors, which in turn, allowed him a solid base of experience to take into the private sector. His project management skills were honed to perfection through planning, implementing and managing several IT, telecom and support projects at companies ranging from startups through midsize to Fortune 500. His current focus is on application delivery for the state of Georgia.

As a volunteer with PMI, Dan has served with Chapters in Chicago, IL and Atlanta, GA as well as both the IT & Telecom SIG and the ISSIG. After completing positions culminating with Chair for the IT & Telecom SIG, he has been working directly with the PMI's Global Operations Center on projects such as Community Transformation Project and Virtual Communities Project and currently serves as a member of the Virtual Communities Advisory Group.
