Event Details
Please join us for the 5th annual Resource Fair
 Proudly presented by
The Irvine Unified School District
Special Education Community Advisory Committee.

The fair takes place from 6:00-8:30pm on Wednesday, March 18, 2009.  Thousands of families in the Irvine area will be invited to participate in this wonderful event.  All proceeds will benefit special education through the Irvine Public Schools Foundation (IPSF).  IPSF is a 501(c)3 organization.

We are inviting organizations that provide services and/or resources to exceptional and typically developing kids and their families to participate in our Resource Fair.  Service providers and event sponsors will have the opportunity to provide participants with information about their services and organizations.

EVENT FEES:

Members of the Orange County Adult Transition Task Force are free.  Registration is still required.
A donation of $25 and/or a contribution to the Special Drawing is appreciated  to help cover costs of the event.  Sponsorship opportunities are as noted below.

Donations, payable to "IPSF" should be mailed to IUSD/Sheri Aguilar, Special Education
5050 Barranca Parkway, Irvine CA 92604

More detailed event information can be found at the events website:  www.EmpoweringIrvine.org.

Special Drawing Opportunity

CAC needs your help to have a successful Special Drawing!  Please be generous in donating goods and/or services to be given away to attendees who put in tickets toward packages they want.  Donations to the drawing are tax deductible and your company or service's name will be prominently displayed with your drawing item.  All proceeds go toward the Playground Support Program.

All proceeds from registration fees and the Special Drawing will go toward funding the Playground Support Program in IUSD elementary schools.  This program provides social opportunities to children who have a hard time engaging with their peers during recess, by providing alternative, structured activities aside from regular unstructured play.  The program is supervised by teachers and aides who are specially trained in how to encourage disengaged children to participate and to foster social situations among them.

Event Sponsorship

We invite all businesses and participants to become event sponsors.  Sponsorship increases your visibility and shows your support to our community.  Proceeds from this event will be used to fund an innovative playground support program.  More information on this program can be found at www.EmpoweringIrvine.org.  Sponsorship options are as follows:
