An Understanding of Empowerment & Healing
** ** ** ** ** ** ** ** ** ** ** **
Practical skills for clearing judgments and developing greater compassion
* How many times have we judged others without really knowing why they acted the way they did, and what they had gone through up to that point?
* How often have we judged ourselves for behaviors we don’t know why we keep doing?
* How affected have we been by the judgment of others and how much have we limited ourselves worrying about it?
* How much pain has all this caused us? And how little good?
Much of what we call human nature is really human conditioning. When we understand where tendencies come from, the judgment drops and we are more able to help things shift. When you really understand the intricacies of cause and effect, you also understand the profound innocence of all life.
Blame helps no one. Empowered responsibility does. Whose fault something is, is not the right question. “What can I do about it?” is.
The goal of this talk is to encourage a deeper awareness of what really motivates behavior, transforming judgments into empathy. Right understanding helps us in loving and accepting ourselves and all life unconditionally…and being more effective in creating positive changes where we can. The result of this information is greater forgiveness, love, and appreciation…and resultantly, more freedom.
