Would your company like to achieve a greater impact through its community relations projects? Are you looking to build productive partnerships with local community agencies? As a company, do you find it difficult to decide which community projects to support?
If you answered yes to any of these questions, I encourage your company to send a representative to our free business and nonprofit networking event on Wednesday, October 20. The event is being planned by the Corporate Volunteer Council, a program that is coordinated by The Volunteer Center of Greensboro. You will have the opportunity to speak to 20 local nonprofits that are working to improve our community in various ways. These nonprofits have a proven ability to work well with groups, and they need corporate volunteers to complete important community projects. The event will function much like a speed dating event. Each nonprofit will be assigned to a station and business representatives will rotate to all 20 stations. You will have 4 minutes to speak with each nonprofit representative. During those four minutes, you will have an opportunity to learn about the nonprofit and determine if the agency may be a good match for your company’s community relations initiatives. Please see below for additional event details:
Location: Alexander Room, Elliot University Center (EUC), University of North Carolina at Greensboro (UNCG), 1000 Spring Garden St, Greensboro, NC 27412 (The EUC is next to Spring St. on the UNCG campus.)

Light refreshments will be provided.
Please register by Wednesday, October 13th.
It is important that all registered business representatives arrive by 4:30 pm to ensure that we start on time. Businesses should only send one representative to this event. We will send a list of participating nonprofits and additional arrival instructions by October 18th.
