UNIQUE EXPERIENTIAL TRAINING OPPORTUNITY

This is an opportunity to improve your Board skills and governance knowledge while participating in a Board Retreat over five days and four nights in Hobart's beautiful Salamanca. This is the only style of Cert IV governance training in Australia and it covers all of the duties and responsibilities of Directors.

A month prior to the course you will recieve an information kit welcoming you as a Director to a newly formed (Hypothetical) Board. You will recieve a company profile and financials, the governance policies for the organistion and your induction reading material for new Directors.

You will need to quickly establish networks, meeting protocols, review financial reports, make strategic decisions, deal with emergency situations, establish working committees and solve problems. In between Board meetings you will participate in training activities on specific topics and hear from experienced Directors.
