- number of emergency and intensive care admissions weekly and annually and how the alcohol and drug fuelled violence and psychosis impacts health services
- type of casualties that present at the RBWH and how this reflects on the specific research being conducted
- economic impact the hospital has on the area
- satellite services the RBWH is responsible for around the district
- RBWH's significant role in mental health services in the Valley, eg. Valley Mental Health Service and the burden on the health system
- an overview of the larger master development plan of the RBWH Herston campus and the planning for future growth of the satellite services
