The PMI Montgomery Chapter celebrates the conclusion of its 2010 program year on November 18 with a presentation by Jim Madaris, Director of the new Project Management Office at Alfa Insurance.
Alfa Insurance has been a friend of the Montgomery Chapter since its inception in 2003 and its CIO, John Jung, has keynoted our annual celebration for several of the chapter’s seven years, always challenging us as members and as a chapter to

· Dare to lead.
This year, Jim Madaris will be representing Mr. Jung with a presentation that is a testament to Alfa’s commitment to these very principles!
Jim will be sharing Alfa’s “real life” saga regarding establishment of its own Project Management Office. He will include a bit of history as to why Alfa started the PMO before moving on to initial challenges and the work they have done over the past year.
We know up front that communication will be a key focus because those who are helping to drive this effort are members of the PMI Montgomery Chapter and testify to the daily opportunities they have to sell the initiative to the uninitiated!
