The WordPress website is one of the easiest and most professional-looking web site systems on the market today. WordPress began life as a blogging system, but for people who are not into "blogging," you might like a dynamic "News and Events" page or a "Stories about Our Org" page that you could update regularly. The best news, though, is that once it's set up, a couple of hours of training will transform just about anybody on the staff into a WebMaster. No coding necessary. For nonprofits, there's also NO COST beyond getting it built. No monthly hosting fees. No paying your web designer to change a picture. It's not for everybody, but if ease of use, easy-on-the-budget sounds good, come to the March TechTuesday.
