Free event but you must register all who plan to attend. Please choose the type of tickets you prefer on the bottom left. Please also complete and submit the form as was indicated in the email announcement.

“Nonprofit Staff Appreciation Day” the event is open to your staff, board members, and their families. The possible activities are listed below. Pre-registration is required and there is a limit of 500 hundred people.

Swim/spray ground Camp tours
Lake activities – the blob, water slide Playground
Climbing tower Hiking
Horseback riding (in the corral) Nature walk
Crafts Basketball
…. And a healthy lunch, and a lot of snacks!

Participation is complimentary as part of the continuing interest of the Community Foundation of Greater Greensboro, Moses Cone – Wesley Long Community Health Foundation, and Weaver Foundation in supporting the nonprofit community.

Your family has two options.
10:30 – 12:30 “A day at camp experience”
Kids check-in between 10:00am and 10:30am(mom and dad can head to the pool, hike a trail, find a shade tree, etc). Trained staffers will lead small groups of “campers” around Camp Weaver and have them participate in activities like the climbing wall, archery, nature walk, and activities at Turtle Lake . The “campers” will then end up at Herman Hall around 12:30 for an authentic Camp lunch experience as well.
(Kids must be of school age to participate)
12:30 – 1:30 Lunch
1:30 – 4:00 free time
OR
Arrive anytime after 10:00am and experience Camp Weaver on your own. Have lunch if you wish from 12:30 – 1:30. Just about all the camp activities will be staffed and available until 4:00pm.
