A twelve week online course on Spiritual Purification. This subject is an important aspect of the inner Islamic sciences. It was embodied by the Prophet (may Allah bless him and grant him peace) his Companions, and those who followed in their noble footsteps. Its aim is to purify the human being's inner state. Allah mentions in the Qur’an, “Indeed whoever purifies himself shall achieve success.” (Surah 87:14) We will study, The Treatise for the Seekers of Guidance written by Al-Muhasibi with a detailed commentary.
Teacher: Imam Amin Muhammad is a native of Atlantic City, NJ who has studied in Cairo, as well as Saudi Arabia with teachers such as Shaykh Walid Ar Rifa’I, Shaykh Mahmud Addam, Shaykh Jamal Zahabi, Shaykh Abdullah bin Bayyah and Shaykh Abdullah bin Ali Basfar. Presently, Amin teaches Hadith, Fiqh and delivers Jumu’ah Khutbah at Masjid Muhammad in Atlantic City, NJ. He also teaches and lectures at masajid in Newark, NJ, Ewing, NJ and Newark, DE.
