ASOCIACION LLUVIA DE ESPERANZA, SPAIN present... GENDER EQUALITY INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE.
“ Asociacion Lluvia de Esperanza (Rain of Hope)” is a non governmental organisation with its base in Spain, our aim is to make life a better place for mostly disadvantaged people and in this group are found i)Women ii)children iii) people with disability iv) forced sex workers. We work on an international level with our focus centered on Africa and Asia, continents with very little or no legal, financial and human rights backing for our group of interest.
Gender equality international conference is organised for men who fight discrimination against women, organisations, activists etc especially in Africa and Asia. Men who precise fair treatment for all, nevertheless, anyone who wish to attend may do so but with previous acceptance by our organization.
We also welcome speakers with informative materials on the issues to be discussed to please send their abstracts before the 15th of November 2010.
Our aim is to help change the mentality of those who view women as useless, lower humans or as mere child bearing instruments for we know that women deserve respect and fair treatment from all.
Other topics to be discussed are;
(1) Men's contribution to gender equality…a way forward
(II) Female genital mutilation…the untold risk
(III) Family planning and free choice…women's right
(IV) Forced marriages…the unhappiness thereafter
Women are our mothers, sisters, aunties, daughters, grandmothers etc. Help restore their pride, help save them!!!
