2009 CLBA Golf Tournament

The 24th Annual CLBA Golf Tournament is once again going to be at Wolf Dancer (Hyatt Lost Pines). Our date is April 8, 2009 and our new charity is SAMMY'S HOUSE. Over the last three years, we were able to raise approximately $60,000 for the Bo Busby Foundation........over the next 3 years, our goal is to raise over $75,000 for Sammy's House.
Sammy’s House is a non-profit organization that provides services for children who are medically fragile and/or developmentally delayed. Sammy’s House operates a child development center, a respite care program and a therapy equipment loaning program.
Most of the 2008 CLBA Board has visited their facility and every person was deeply touched by the children and the staff. These kids' working parents have no other place to turn.
CLBA, through the golf tournament, can make a huge difference for this charity. The director of Sammy's House mentioned that if we can hit our 2008 charitable contribution mark, we will have have helped her stay open for 1/2 a year!
Golfers:
- Box Lunches will be provided
- Longest Drive and Closest to the Hole Prizes
- Beer, water and soft drinks will be provided throughout the tournament
- Awards banquet and buffet dinner to follow at 6:00 pm
