We are honored that GEORGE LEDYARD SENSEI has accepted our invitation to visit Two Rivers Budo. This Weekend Intensive with Ledyard Sensei will include a full 11 hours of training, with a very specific and focused syllabus: ______________________________________________________________________ Friday - 6:00pm - 8:00pm: BODY MECHANICS - How to Extend, Receive, and Join. Saturday - 9:00am - Noon: AIKI AND CONNECTION - Whole Body Movement, the Importance of the "Intent" 2:00pm - 3:00pm: SPECIAL SESSION with Yoshi Shibata Sensei 3:00pm - 5:00pm: SWORD FUNDAMENTALS - Kamae & Movement, Essential Techniques Sunday - 10:00am - 1:00pm: UNDERSTANDING "IRIMI" - Mechanics and Energetics of the "Entry" ______________________________________________________________________ Cost is $125 for the weekend. Attendance is limited to 25 people. ______________________________________________________________________ George Ledyard Sensei is the Chief Instructor of Aikido Eastside, Seattle WA. He began his Aikido studies in 1976 under the direct instruction of Mitsugi Saotome Shihan and has continued this association ever since. Ledyard Sensei believes that Aikido should be both a spiritual practice and a martial art. He is known for his work with the staff and sword, and also for an innovative approach to applied empty-hand technique, which brings in elements from his training in Japanese Koryu, Iaido, Filipino martial arts and Systema.
